Last Spring and into the Summer I was selling a series of original #secretmessage pieces on Instagram that included quotes from Thrashing About With God. Through the course of offering those, I had several people disappointed when they missed getting a particular #secretmessage that really spoke to them.
Two people in particular got me thinking outside the box:
Grace inspired me to create a custom secret message option in my shop. This allows you to request any of the words you've seen on a former secret message of mine, and I will add them to a new original painted background.
And Evan Leah inspired me to create a monthly secret message art print subscription, which I've done as an expansion to the Secret Message Society. I launched this just yesterday, so if you want in on the first #secretmessage, you can sign up HERE. Members of the Secret Message Society (who get the snail mailed version of my zine) will get a 50% off discount on the art prints.
I wanted to share how I came upon the colour scheme for the first year of art prints.
Over the Summer my daughter was doing a project with yarn and left these snippets laying on the kitchen table. I was so taken by the colour palette I decided to adopt it for my first year of Secret Message Society Art Prints.
How's that for a sneak-peek into the upcoming year of secret messages delivered to your letterbox?! The words themselves? Why, they stay a secret, tucked inside an envelope just for you at just the right time.
